3 cheers for ABVP, single post for NSUI at DUSU

The Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP) has won three out of four seats in the Delhi University Students’ Union (DUSU) elections. The National Students Union of India (NSUI) won the vice-president’s post. ABVP’s vote share decreased compared to the previous year, while NSUI’s vote share increased. ABVP’s candidates for secretary and joint secretary won by large margins. ABVP’s president post victory marks the eighth time in 11 years. The election saw a higher voter turnout compared to the previous year, with the NOTA option receiving a significant number of votes.
