‘India’s G20 Presidency was challenging’: Jaishankar

India’s External Affairs Minister, S Jaishankar, spoke about the challenges faced during India’s G20 Presidency, including the East-West divide and North-South disparities. He emphasized India’s determination to uphold the core objectives of fostering global growth and development. Jaishankar also highlighted the impact of geopolitical rivalries on basic necessities such as access to food, fertilizers, and energy. He attended the “India-UN for Global South: Delivering for Development” event in New York and will address the United Nations General Assembly on September 26.
