50 Marathwada circles record heavy rain; Aurangabad dist gets 170% of Sept quota

Several areas in the Marathwada region, including Aurangabad district, received heavy rainfall exceeding 65mm in a 24-hour period. The average rainfall in September reached 205mm, which is 170% of the normal rainfall for the month. While there were two cattle deaths, no human casualties or property damage were reported. The authorities have urged residents living near rivers and nullahs to be cautious of potential flash floods caused by the rain.
