Euphoria as Vande Bharat launch run makes a splash

The first premium train, Vande Bharat Express, between Tirunelveli and Chennai Egmore was flagged off by Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Telangana governor Tamilisai Soundararajan and Union minister L Murugan were present as passengers on the inaugural journey. The train received positive reviews from passengers, who praised its comfort and cleanliness. Around 100 rail fans from across the state had come to Tirunelveli to travel on the first train. However, there were tense moments during the ceremony when DMK cadre clashed with BJP workers.
