Chinese driver in Singapore hurls abuses at a woman assuming her to be Indian

A Chinese taxi driver in Singapore is being investigated for verbally abusing a woman and her daughter after assuming they were of Indian ethnicity. The driver made derogatory comments about their ethnicity and falsely accused the woman’s daughter of being under the required height for a booster seat. The incident was recorded and shared on social media before being taken down. The ride-hailing app TADA, through which the ride was booked, is currently investigating the incident.
