AIADMK quits NDA, but BJP harbours hope of its return to fold

The All India Anna Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (AIADMK) party in Tamil Nadu has decided to sever ties with the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and exit the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) coalition. The AIADMK, led by Edappadi K Palaniswami, will form its own alliance and contest the 2024 Lok Sabha elections.
