Cauvery row: B’luru bandh set to hit normal life today

A dawn-to-dusk bandh in Bengaluru to protest the release of Cauvery water to Tamil Nadu is expected to disrupt normal life. Buses and autorickshaws will remain off the roads, while schools, colleges, and some businesses will also be closed. Namma Metro services will continue as usual, but IT and tech firms have asked employees to work from home. The city police have imposed Section 144 as a precautionary measure, and over 100 organizations have expressed their support for the bandh.
