LOC against Manpreet, counsel withdraws pre-arrest bail plea

The Punjab vigilance bureau has issued a Look Out Circular (LOC) against former minister Manpreet Singh Badal in a cheating and forgery case. Manpreet is accused of causing a loss of Rs 65 lakh to the state exchequer in the purchase of two plots. Three of the five other accused in the case have been arrested. Manpreet’s counsel has withdrawn his pre-arrest bail application and plans to file a fresh plea. The LOC has been issued at all airports, and the airports have been alerted.
