A murder suspect mistakenly released from an Indianapolis jail was captured in Minnesota, police say

A murder suspect, Kevin Mason, who was mistakenly released from jail in Indianapolis two weeks ago, has been captured by the US Marshals Service in Minnesota. Mason, 28, was apprehended in St. Paul and will face charges in a 2021 killing. The Marion County Sheriff’s Office expressed gratitude to the Marshals Service for safely bringing Mason back into custody. He is accused of killing Dontevius A. Catchings in June 2021.
