Danish Ali writes to PM, seeks suitable punishment for Bidhuri

BSP MP Danish Ali, who was targeted with derogatory remarks by Ramesh Bidhuri in Lok Sabha last week, on Friday wrote a letter to Prime Minister Narendra Modi seeking “suitable punishment” for the BJP MP. In the letter, the BSP MP also sought enhanced security for himself. The recent incident during the special session of Parliament was not just an attack on me as an individual but an attack on the “very essence of democracy”, Ali said.
