EPFO extends wage detail deadline

Retirement fund body EPFO on Friday granted a three-month extension till December 31, 2023, to employers for uploading employees’ wage details for pension on higher wages. The earlier deadline for uploading the wage details was due to end on September 30. It has been extended, a union ministry statement said, following multiple representations from employers and employers’ associations highlighting technical difficulties arising due to non-availability of data.
