Rain to occur in Bihar from Oct 1 to 4: Met

The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has predicted increased rainfall activity in Bihar from October 1 to October 4. Heavy rainfall is expected in the southern and northeastern parts of the state. A low-pressure area with cyclonic circulation in the Bay of Bengal is likely to move towards Odisha and West Bengal, causing thunderstorms and lightning. The IMD has warned of potential waterlogging, rising river levels, and damage to houses. Bihar has a rainfall deficiency of 24% this monsoon season.
