Smart ICU launched at PHC in Andhra Pradesh

The government of Guntur has launched a Live ICU at a primary healthcare center, in collaboration with a corporate hospital, to provide advanced healthcare facilities in rural areas. The facility utilizes integrated technology to capture and continuously stream patients’ health data to higher centers where specialists can evaluate and provide suggestions to the local doctors. The project aims to save critical patients in rural settings and reduce the need for transferring them to referral hospitals, thus saving crucial time. The use of AI and machine learning in this project is expected to be a game-changer in the healthcare sector.
