25 buses carrying TMC volunteers start out from Kolkata for Delhi demonstration on October 3

Around 25 buses carrying TMC volunteers are heading from Kolkata to Delhi for a protest against the alleged withholding of funds by the Centre. Over 4,000 people will participate in the program. TMC leader Abhishek Banerjee stated that the party cannot be intimidated by central agencies and will continue with the protests. The ‘Dilli Chalo’ call is to demand Rs 7,000 crore for the rural works guarantee scheme and Rs 8,200 crore for the Awas Yojana.
