India’s 3×3 basketball run ends in quarters

India’s U-23 women’s basketball team made history by reaching the quarterfinals at the Asian Games. They defeated Malaysia 16-6 in the round of 16 but lost to Chinese Taipei 10-21 in the quarterfinals. Vaishnavi Yadav was the standout player for India, scoring nine points against Malaysia. In the men’s 3×3 competition, India lost to Iran 17-19 in the pre-quarterfinals. Princepal Singh and Sahaij Sekhon were the top performers for India.
