Delhi Rs 25 cr jewellery theft: A lone wolf who learned from each heist

Lokesh Srivas, a master thief from Chhattisgarh, planned a heist at Umrao Singh Jewellers in Delhi. He meticulously prepared for the theft, bringing along tools such as crowbars and a portable gas cutter, as well as snacks and cashew nuts. Srivas had learned from past experiences, wearing gloves to avoid leaving fingerprints. However, his cover was blown when his associate, Lokesh Rao, tipped off the police about the stolen loot. Srivas had conducted thorough surveillance of the area before executing the robbery. He was remanded to the custody of Bilaspur police due to his involvement in another crime.
