New vehicle series to be out in mid-Oct

The Registering and Licensing Authority (RLA) in Chandigarh plans to launch a new vehicle series, CH01-CS, in October. This coincides with the festive season and is expected to boost vehicle sales. However, the launch comes just before the registration of petrol and diesel vehicles is likely to be closed from November to March 31 due to the Electric Vehicle Policy. The new vehicle series will have a total of 9999 numbers, with around 250 fancy numbers to be auctioned. Interested bidders will be given one week to participate in the e-auction.
