Ram Lalla on his chariot to take a round of Ayodhya

Preparations are underway for the consecration ceremony of the Ram temple in Ayodhya in January 2024. The temple Trust has planned a weeklong event, including a procession for Ram Lalla in a special chariot, supervised by scholars from Kashi. The idol of Lord Rama will be anointed with water from the Saryu river and taken on a city tour before being kept with offerings for a day. The ceremony will be celebrated in 4 lakh temples across the country, with live telecast for devotees. The installation of ‘Ram Stambh’ pillars has also begun.
