Tunisia rejects European funds and says they fall short of a deal for migration and financial aid

Tunisia has announced its rejection of funds from Europe intended to help the country patrol the Mediterranean Sea and address the increasing number of migrant boat crossings. President Kais Saied accused the European Union of not fulfilling previous agreements to support Tunisia in border control and combating smuggling.
