Maldives pro-China winner to eject Indian troops

Mohamed Muizzu, the president-elect of the Maldives, has vowed to end foreign military presence in the country. While he did not explicitly mention India, the only foreign power with a military deployment in the Maldives, Muizzu’s campaign focused on sending back military forces based in the country.
