KCR wanted to join NDA, was rebuffed, says Modi in Telangana

Prime Minister Narendra Modi claimed that Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao (KCR) had approached him to join the NDA but was rejected, ahead of the state assembly polls. Modi also alleged that KCR wanted his son KT Rama Rao (KTR) to become the CM and retire himself. KCR’s party, Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS), denied the allegations and accused Modi of dishonesty.
