BJP alleges irregularities but Nitish backs caste survey in Bihar

The opposition BJP in Bihar has alleged irregularities in the data collection process for the Bihar caste headcount, while its ally, Lok Janshakti Party (Ram Vilas), has called for a fresh survey. Leader of the opposition Vijay Kumar Sinha questioned why the government had not released the “report on the economic status of different castes”.
