ARR slaps Rs 10cr notice on surgeons association

Music director A R Rahman has sent a legal notice to the Annual Conference of Association of Surgeons of India (ASICON), demanding 10 crore as compensation for allegedly defaming his name. Rahman claims that he never entered into any contractual obligation with the association and the advance payment was made to a third party. He has asked ASICON to apologize publicly and pay the damages within 15 days.
