IED design paper seized from terror suspect Alam’s flat: ATS

The state anti-terrorism squad (ATS) in Pune seized an improvised explosive device (IED) design paper hidden in a ceiling fan in a flat rented by a wanted terrorist, Shahnawaz Alam. The ATS had initially recovered the IED design paper and later found ammonium nitrate and other explosives in the Bopdev Ghat area. The case was handed over to the National Investigation Agency (NIA), and Alam was arrested in Delhi. The investigation revealed that Alam had rented another flat near Talab Masjid. Two other suspects detained with Alam had connections to terror activities as well.
