CAIT demands Rs 10 lakh fine for Amitabh Bachchan over ‘false and misleading’ advertisement

The Confederation of All India Traders (CAIT) has filed a complaint against Flipkart’s advertisement featuring Amitabh Bachchan for the upcoming Big Billion Days sale. CAIT claims that the advertisement is misleading and harms small retailers. They have demanded the withdrawal of the advertisement and a penalty on Flipkart for false advertising, as well as a fine on Bachchan.
