“It’s a feeling of homecoming especially as you’re just building on the character,” says Konkona Sen Sharma ahead of the premiere of ‘Mumbai Diaries’ season 2

Season 2 of the medical drama ‘Mumbai Diaries’ has been announced, focusing on the 2005 floods that paralyzed the city. Konkona Sen Sharma, who plays Dr. Chitra Das, described working on the sequel as a homecoming experience. The show, directed by Nikhil Advani, follows the staff of Bombay General Hospital as they cope with the floods. The eight-episode series, also starring Mohit Raina and Shreya Dhanwantary, will premiere on 6th October 2023 on OTT.
