ED raids over Karuvannur cooperative bank scam concludes

Officers from enforcement directorate (ED) completed the raids that were held in connection with the fraud at Karuvannur cooperative bank. The raids, which started at 8am on Wednesday, ended early on Thursday morning. The raid at the bank headquarters continued till 3am on Thursday, while the search at the home of Bejoy, who was remanded in prison, lasted till 10.30pm on Wednesday. Bejoy was Rubco’s representative at the bank who allegedly had a major role in the scam.
