PM Modi hails grit, spirit of athletes as India puts up best-ever Asiad show

Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi has praised the performance of Indian athletes at the Asian Games, as the country achieved its best-ever medal tally. India won a total of 71 medals, including 18 golds, surpassing their previous record of 70 medals in 2018. Modi congratulated individual athletes and teams for their achievements in various sports, including squash, boxing, wrestling, athletics, and javelin.
