JD(U) MLA flaunts revolver at govt hosp in Bhagalpur

JD(U) MLA Narendra Kumar Niraj, also known as Gopal Mandal, has caused controversy by openly brandishing a revolver at a government-run hospital in Bhagalpur. When questioned about his actions, Mandal stated that he carried the firearm for self-defense against criminals who were after him. He also mentioned his aspirations of becoming an MP in the next Lok Sabha election. The police confirmed that Mandal was carrying a licensed revolver, so no action was taken against him. The opposition BJP has called for his immediate arrest, while JD(U) minister Jayant Raj defended Mandal’s actions.
