33-year-old held for cheating ex-IAF officer of Rs 1.6 lakh

A 33-year-old man was arrested in Faridabad for allegedly cheating a retired Air Force officer by fraudulently changing his ATM card and withdrawing approximately Rs 1.6 lakh from his account. The accused replaced the victim’s card with a fake one while offering help at an ATM. The victim realized his card was fake when he received messages about unauthorized withdrawals. An FIR was filed against the accused under sections 420 and 406 of the IPC.
