Seven from 2 families, driver killed in Varanasi accident

Eight people, including seven members of two families and a driver, died in a car accident in Varanasi. The car crashed into a truck, resulting in the death of all eight passengers. A nine-year-old boy survived the accident but sustained severe injuries. The deceased were identified as residents of different villages in Uttar Pradesh. They were returning home after immersing the ashes of their loved ones in the Ganga. The truck driver fled the scene of the accident. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath expressed condolences and ordered proper treatment for the injured.
