Haryana: Built 10 years ago, ‘forgotten’ water boosting station finally starts op

Two water boosting stations in Sirhaul, Gurgaon, which were constructed in 2013 but remained non-operational for a decade, have been found to have missing files in MCG records. The vigilance department’s probe into the matter recommended making the stations operational since the responsible officers and staff could not be identified. Residents have reported a decrease in water supply in the past year and emphasized the need to make the stations functional. The first station has been made operational, while efforts are being made to operationalize the second one.
