Actress Julia Ormond sues Harvey Weinstein over alleged assault

Julia Ormond, an actress whose career faded in the 1990s, has filed a lawsuit against Harvey Weinstein, accusing him of sexually assaulting her in 1995 and hindering her career afterwards. She also accuses The Walt Disney Co., Miramax, and her former agents of knowing about Weinstein’s behavior but taking no action. Ormond claims that after confronting Weinstein, she received no support from her agents and was advised not to take legal action.
