Nokia opens 6G Lab in India

Nokia has opened a 6G Lab in Bangalore to accelerate the development of 6G technology. The lab will focus on researching “Network as a Sensor” technology, which enables the network to sense objects and movement without on-board sensors. The lab is in line with India’s “Bharat 6G Vision” and aims to establish India as a key player in 6G technology development. Nokia’s Chief Strategy and Technology Officer, Nishant Batra, expressed the company’s commitment to helping India become a leading developer and supplier of advanced telecom technologies.
