Man lands in soup for snacking on Metro

The Bangalore Metro Rail Corporation Ltd (BMRCL) has registered a case against a passenger who was caught on video eating inside a train. The BMRCL has also imposed a penalty of Rs 500 on the passenger for violating rules. This is the first time that BMRCL has taken such action against a passenger for consuming food inside a train. The passenger, who is a regular commuter, has given an undertaking that he will not repeat such behavior.
