Chile express serious outrage over exclusion from 2030 World Cup hosting plans

Chile appear to be unhappy after being excluded from the plans for the 2030 World Cup while neighbouring countries Argentina, Uruguay, and Paraguay were selected. President Gabriel Boric expressed regret and criticized the process as “unserious and surprising”. Chile had jointly bid with the other countries but was the only one not awarded a game.
