Blaze at service centre off Sinhagad Rd guts 40 bikes

A fire broke out at a service center of a vehicle dealer in Pune, damaging 40 two-wheelers. No injuries were reported, and preliminary investigations suggest a short circuit as the cause of the fire. CCTV footage shows the fire starting from a short circuit in the electricity distribution point. The service center manager stated that all the damaged vehicles belonged to customers and that they would replace the completely damaged ones and repair the partially damaged ones. Five fire tenders were used to extinguish the fire, which took about an hour.
