Ex-Pak PM Imran Khan masterminded May 9 violence to remove Army chief: Close aide Usman Dar

Former Pakistani Prime Minister Imran Khan orchestrated the May 9 violence and planned attacks on military installations in order to remove Army Chief General Asim Munir, according to his close aide Usman Dar. Dar claimed that Khan held meetings where the targeting of sensitive institutions was discussed, and that the purpose of the violence was to exert pressure on the military and remove Gen Munir from his position.
