‘Fake’ job papers: 7 teachers sacked, Delhi LG VK Saxena okays CBI probe

Seven teachers from a Delhi government-aided school have been terminated and a CBI inquiry has been recommended into their appointments. The Directorate of Vigilance found that the appointments were made using forged documents in collusion with officials from the Directorate of Education and the school management. The Lieutenant Governor has also ordered a scrutiny of recruitment records from government-aided schools over the past 10 years and the formation of a committee to study the recruitment process and suggest improvements. Similar allegations of collusion have been made in the past.
