Paytm CEO Vijay Shekhar Sharma meets with Gujarat Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel, discusses collaborations on digital payments

Paytm CEO Vijay Shekhar Sharma met with Gujarat Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel to discuss the fintech giant’s potential involvement in connectivity projects in the state. Sharma also expressed interest in contributing to Gujarat’s Gift City becoming a global finance hub and proposed a digital payment system for street fairs and small shopkeepers. Paytm recently launched Card Soundbox to facilitate mobile and card payments.
