Odisha seeks chopper from Centre to combat Naxalism

The state government on Friday sought a helicopter from the Centre for effectively combating left-wing extremism (LWE) in Odisha. Attending union home minister Amit Shah’s review meeting on the security situation in LWE-affected states in Delhi, the state government said the naxal violence has significantly been contained in Odisha.
