Union cabinet resolution on Krishna waters detrimental to Andhra Pradesh’s interests: CM YS Jagan

Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Jagan Mohan Reddy has requested Union Home Minister Amit Shah to withdraw the decision to issue fresh terms of references to the Krishna Water Disputes Tribunal (KWDT-II). Reddy argued that the decision, which excludes Karnataka and Maharashtra and involves only Telangana and Andhra Pradesh, is not scientific and detrimental to the interests of Andhra Pradesh.
