Facing heat, Maharashtra eases norms for drugs purchase

Under scrutiny for the delayed acquisition of medication supplies, the state took action on Thursday by empowering collectors to allocate 100% of the medical funds held by the District Planning Development Committee (DPDC) for the procurement of drugs, a significant increase from the previous limit of 10%.
