76th Independence Day: Time to step towards new direction with new resolve, PM says in address from Red Fort

Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Monday greeted people from the ramparts of the iconic Red Fort on the country’s 76th Independence Day. He also congratulated the countrymen on the completion of 75 years of independence. “My understanding of the spirit of India, made me realise that for the growth of New India we needed to ensure inclusive development across the nation,” PM Modi said in his address.
