Commission agents ‘kidnap’ insurance official for unpaid dues

Three men in Chennai have been arrested for kidnapping a deputy manager of an insurance firm. The men, who worked as insurance agents for the deputy manager, demanded payment of their commission of Rs 2.5 lakh. The kidnappers had added several people to the insurance scheme and had an unpaid commission. When the deputy manager failed to make the payment, they decided to kidnap him. The trio was arrested after the deputy manager’s wife lodged a complaint with the police.
