Dangling live wire claims two lives, locals blame officials

Two men in Chennai died after getting entangled in a live wire that was dangling on the road. The victims, who were casual laborers, were riding a bike when they got caught in the cable and fell on it. The incident occurred on a deserted stretch of road, and it went unnoticed until some passersby found the unconscious men. They were declared dead at a nearby hospital. Local residents have expressed concerns about the presence of worn-out wires in the area. Police are investigating the case.
