Independence Day: Security stepped up on Assam borders

Security was stepped up along the inter-state borders of Assam, mainly the eastern part bordering Arunachal Pradesh, on the eve of Independence Day on Sunday following the United Liberation Front of Asom-Independent (Ulfa-I)’s recent call to boycott the celebrations.
