Title not clear but Auda offers plots to LuLu Group

The Ahmedabad Urban Development Authority (Auda) plans to auction two plots in Chandkheda town planning scheme 44, despite not having possession of one of the plots. The plot in question still belongs to private landowners and Auda has not officially taken possession of it. The auction was prompted by Dubai-based LuLu Group International’s interest in purchasing the plots. However, there is a legal dispute between Sardar Sarovar Nigam Ltd and the original landowners regarding possession of one of the plots. The rushed evaluation of the plots by Auda officials has raised concerns of further legal disputes.
