Georgia’s governor continues rollback of state gas and diesel taxes for another month

Georgia Governor Brian Kemp has extended the suspension of state taxes on gasoline and diesel for another month. The taxes, which amount to 31.2 cents per gallon of gasoline and 35 cents per gallon of diesel, were originally set to end next week but will now continue until at least November 11. This move is aimed at providing tax relief to Georgia residents amidst rising inflation.
