38 lakh foreigners visited India between Apr-Oct 2022

According to the annual report of India’s home ministry, over 38.3 lakh foreigners visited India between April and October 2022. The largest number of arrivals were from Bangladesh, followed by the US and UK. The report also highlighted a significant increase in the number of Bangladeshi and US citizens visiting India compared to the previous year. However, the total number of foreign visitors to India is still below pre-Covid levels.
